July in New York is a negotiation, and The Grey Dog is where you work it out. With the weather ranging from comfortable to unbearable, some days are for outdoor seating coupled with a Venetian Spritz, and other days mean walking straight through the front door to where the AC is blasting. You're in luck because we've seen every version of July in this city, and we're ready for all of them.

JULY 4TH

4th of July weekend was made for family time. Bring the kids in and we'll make the pancakes patriotic, strawberries and blueberries piled on top, Bloody Marys for the adults. Everyone gets a table big enough to spread out, and we're open all weekend till 4:30 PM. 

EVENING AT THE GREY DOG

Each evening the city cools down and golden hour arrives. To us, golden hour means a Michigan lager straight from the tap, next to cheesy loaded nachos, zingy street corn salsa and sweet and spicy chicken wings. Pull up a chair, this is what summer in NYC is supposed to feel like.
